Abby Hollander Levitt, MS, CCC-SLP (she/her) is a NYS licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience treating a diverse array of communication disorders and a particular passion for working with those affected by voice disorders. She believes in a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy, tailoring sessions to meet the needs and reach the goals of each client. In addition to a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, Abby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and has worked as a professional singer and musician for many years.
Abby has completed extensive training in voice care, including an internship at the Columbia University Center for Voice and Swallowing. She is certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for people with Parkinson’s disease, has completed levels 1 and 2 of Estill Voice Training, and she continues to expand her skillset through ongoing courses. Most recently, Abby has been a guest lecturer on the topic of gender affirming voice care in the graduate Communication Disorders program at the State University of New Paltz.
She has also worked for many years in early intervention and preschool settings, helping children with language disorders/delayed speaking develop their communication skills. Her expertise extends to children who don’t yet communicate verbally and those on the Autism spectrum. Abby finds it extremely rewarding to help families and caregivers develop tools to guide and support their children more successfully.
Abby is bilingual and provides services in English and Spanish. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
